9th Grade Registration & Class Placement

Class Placement Guidelines

Please see SCHS's Course Placement Guidelines (they are the same for all CUSD high schools)

8th Graders MUST Register for a Student Portal

All of the high schools in the district are transitioning to the electronic registration process.  Therefore, it is imperative that students obtain both a parent portal AND student portal account.  This year, 8th grade students will be required to use their Student Portal Account to complete the registration process and choose their elective for the 2017-2018 school year.  It will be essential for students to have a valid Student Portal account to properly register for classes.

NOTE:  A student portal account is DIFFERENT than a parent portal account.

Here is how to register:

  1. https://abi.capousd.org/
  2. Click on Access to Parent/Student Portal
  3. Click on “Create a New Account”
  4. Click on “Student”
  5. Follow instructions and create an account
