Attendance

For your convenience we have a 24-hour absentee line. If your child is going to be absent from school please call 369-6468 and state your name and your child's name, state grade level, and the reason for the absence. If you are unable to call, please have your child bring a note the fist day he/she returns to school.

Note: Absences not excused within 72 hours may be considered truancies

If you would like to purchase a tile to paint please complete this form and return with a check (BAMS PTSA) to the office before Feb 28th. Tiles will be painted March 16th - 19th at the lunch tables starting at 3:30 pm. Please contact the PTSA if you think you have already purchased a tile.

About Us

 

Bernice Ayer Middle School (est. 1998) is a 6th – 8th Middle school, feeding into San Clemente High School (est. 1965). BAMS is one of the few Dual Immersion Middles Schools within the Capistrano Unified School District. Other programs offered include ASB, PAL, WEB, Choir, Drama, Yearbook, Video Production, Band and Orchestra.  There are about 900 students currently enrolled.
